1001 Albums Summary

Was never really into English Rock, but this album has definitely helped with that. I Wanna be Adored, She Bangs the Drums, Sugar Spun Sister, Made of Stone and Fool's Gold are masterclass. Don't Stop didn't really do it for me, but I can definitely appreciate the attempt at something so experimental. Overall, definitely get the hype and will be revisiting this album.

As someone who was introduced to Arctic Monkeys through their albums AM and Favorite Worst Nightmare, it's really cool to go back and hear the album that started it all. Very solid songs, but nothing really stands out for me. The songs sound very similar to each other (except for Riot Van, which is a nice little breather in the middle of the album). Some personal favorites include I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor and Perhaps Vampires is A Bit Strong But...
