An album that can definitely see as a movie soundtrack or scene setter. Simple melodies, meaningful lyrics and relevant lyrics. A smooth and sultry tone to his voice. I feel transported back to the 60's at a school dance slow dancing. There's a thin line between blues and soul and songs like Just Out Of Reach and Cry To Me There are a beautiful range of emotions displayed in this album and in an era where song order and transitions between songs wasn't even a figment of artists imaginations yet; a simple rearranging of some songs prior to others could tell a seamless and cohesive story.
