1001 Albums Summary

Not used to Soul, but it definitely has... Soul. Very chill, maybe more background than active listening music, but this must be great live. Great vibes. Won't be my favorite album ever, but I could listen this again without any issues. 7/10?

Interesting for sure, some nice songs, nothing too memorable. Different styles in one, which is something I can appreciate, but it does decrease the coherence a bit. Very USA somehow. 7.2.

Only three deep, but this definitely is the best one so far. Great music, great vocals, awesome variety, but coherent. The others were perfectly pleasant, but this just has a higher entertainment value. There is constantly something going on and the piano throughout helps a lot and I do really like his voice. Maybe an 8.8?

So this is an interesting one. It's a vibe and at least one legendary song on here. But. It is too repetitive for me. If this is your thing, I can understand you can listen to this for hours, but for me an album needs to tell a story. Go somewhere. Start and end. And this is more like a greatest hits bundle. To my untrained ear, it all sounds rather similar. Therefore, good for a listen, but wouldn't repeat the entire album, just some tracks. And the last song? There is a lot I can listen to, but this isn't it. Really tough to even finish that one and will try to avoid ever listening it again. 6.6/10?

Very eighties, like the vocals in general and as usual good vibes. Hard to get really immersed in it. It's not very strong on the melodies and goes mostly on beats and vibes. Nothing wrong with that, but also nothing outstanding. 7.4/10? Some really cool songs on it, like Rio. Would pick and choose probably, but there are some on here worthy of a repeat
