1001 Albums Summary

I liked this album. I've heard of a Tribe Called Quest but never sat down and listened to it. I'm not sure if I would listen to this again though, mostly because this sounds is so familiar that I feel like I've heard to this entire album before because the production and flows have been reused by the music downstream of this album that it has influenced.

I really liked this one. The music didn’t sound dated but you could still tell it was made in another era.

I liked this album but it got a little repetitive

I recognize the name but never listened to this group. They have some solid songs on it and some great features but there was too much filler in this album for my taste. It's a 2 in my eyes compares to my A Tribe called Quest 3. I liked the production but at the same time it's very similar to what TLET from Quest did which this is meant to replicate I think but it feels repetitive and generative at time and some of the samples are questionable. Also just the length of the album dragged the rating down for me

This had 2-3 solid 5/5 songs, but it being a soundtrack album some of the instrumental only parts of the album didn't do it for me which is fine since it's meant for a movie, but goes into my rating consideration.
