1001 Albums Summary

My opinion on this album is really influenced by my personal music taste, which does not contain almost any rap music. I have to admit that the ideas for the lyrics are cool. Some melodies are catchy-> for example The World Is Yours. But it is simply not for me.

Once again, it is not really something I would normally listen to. It is surely not bad at all, but not for me.

Breathe (In the Air)- I love this song. This songs kinda sounds to me like when people get high for the first time (comes from a person who had never been high) On The Run- The start makes me feel like some kind of hacker collecting informations for spies, and this is the dramatic part of the movie with really intense atmosphere.-> this thing sounds like its from a movie, it's cool, but I would not listen to it on a daily basis 5/10 Time- I usually am not a fan of long intros with no singing in them, but in this song for some reason I do not mind at all, because it fits the vibe so much. This also makes me feel like I am in a spy movie. 8/10 The Great Gig in the Sky- lovelovelovelovelove it sooooo much it holds so much emotions and feelings and the power of the voice is just unbelievable 10000/10 Money- That has such a vibe, it is really cool. I like the lyrics. 8/10 Us and Them- This songs is so beautifully peaceful but yet somehow it has a seductive vibe to it at the start. I love the saxophone (i hope it is saxophone) part. 9/10 Any Colour You Like- For some reason in Pink Floyd songs I just do not mind the long intros but in other songs it is making it so boring, not their case though. Okay so it was not just an intro, but I actually liked it. I do not look for only instrumental music, but in this case it was really nice. 6.5/10 Brain damage- I love this song so much, it has such a vibe and it is just so amazing. Incredible. The lyrics are so cool. 9.5/10 Eclipse- So far it sounds really cool. Almost like a yearning song. Speak to Me- uhh idk?
