1001 Albums Summary

Obviously a great album, it’s immediately clear a bunch of artists wanted to emulate him. Great voice, especially loved the keys, but I was a bit unenthused and wasn’t excited enough to listen more than once. Lotta the songs feel very similar. I bet it was fun as fuck to be at that live show though.

This album was great, I listened to it like, 1.5 times. I really like Superfly by Curtis Mayfield a lot, and this has similar vibes, but I didn't like it quite as much. Great songs, perfect length for an album.
