1001 Albums Summary

Really intense song opening that I really enjoyed. Soldier's poems has almost the exact melody as Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but I think it is; it's a well-too- known melody to not recognise it. I loved the songs, but I found the voice to become really tedious as the songs went by. The voice could've made a more interesting choice in the melody, changing registers. It feels like I'd prefer to listen to the instrumentals alone because the voice, by the 6th song, becomes insufferable. The style is so unique that gets old when it becomes that repetitvie. Might also have to do with the fact that this isnt my go-to gengre and might be bias. 6.5/10
