1001 Albums Summary

Pioneers of Glam Rock ok purr. Admittedly, I only know a few of these songs by sound. This album sounds so reminiscent of The Beatles, which funnily enough they cite as a major influence for this album. They used to be more aligned with folk rock acts like Bob Dylan and this album was the shift away from that. Bang a Gong (Get It On) - Come on, an American Classic. I think leaning into the bluesy and up beat tempo really works. I can see why this song broke through and achieved an enduring fame.
