1001 Albums Summary

A lot of good songs, and a generally good vibe, but I felt like a couple were misses and/or went on too long. I knew a couple of the songs already, but most were new to me (Moving Out was a standout). Felt like the sort of music I should like, but just kinda didn't. Found it really hard to actually pay attention to the full album, most of it just kinda became background music. I thought this was going to be a mid album with one legendary song on it. Turns out I don't actually rate his Hallelujah that highly. I appreciate that there was a bit of variation (thank god for Eternal Life), but still mostly felt like fine background music, not songs I would choose to put on again. Though the album was a good vibe even though there weren't that many standout songs. Preferred the songs where there was a bit more music going on instead of just the singing.
