1001 Albums Summary

Interesting perspective: a premature American emo boy working at some sadistic monotone American coffee shop.

I like. Don’t know why I’m not a rock fan but I’ve had three rock albums in row on this site Dookie, Pixies and this (Elvis Presley). I like Dookie because it provided me a sort of window into how/what a rock fan feels when listening. Pixies is like that person you see and you instantly hate them for no apparent reason—thats how I felt on the first second of the album and I ignored it. and then this is that person that you see and there’s something weird about them and then after a few chats they drop some absolute gem on you unexpectedly. For me the gems are: Blue Moon - Take 9M, Little Darling and Money Honey.

Well it’s Jimi Hendrix and he doesn’t disappoint (this is actually my first time listening to a full album of his)
