1001 Albums Summary

I'm not a Beatles fan I didn't grow up in a Beatles household. So the Beatles Nostalgia doesn't exist for me. Anyway, I think there were some songs that were better than others such as "It Won't Be Long," and "All I've Got to Do,". But the covers were really jarring "Please Mister Postman," and "Roll Over Beethoven," and not in a good way. This album reminded me of how CloClo brought a lot of English songs to the French language (such as the Beatles). I guess The Beatles were attempting to do that but like crossing the Atlantic instead and it was not necessary to make a more "British accessible?" version? It wasn't a bad album but it's not my taste and I'm sure there are other Beatles albums I would like more.
