1001 Albums Summary

The first few tracks were the typical David Bowie pop songs, the best of which being the titular track, Heroes. While I liked it, it wasnt really something that special from his discography. However, this album is in fact special. The ending of the record is a series of instrumental tracks featuring different instruments, all of which are extremely good. That made this record something special.

Overall very pleasant album. We float is my stand out favorite. It has the airy melancholic feeling that hits the right spot. The other songs range from excellent to pretty good. Big Exit was also very nice! Would listen again

Loved it. It being live and set a prison created a great ambiance for Johnny Cash's silky singing. Usually not my cup of tea, but this album's quality transcends genre bias.

This album really is the peak David Bowie. All the songs are bangers, it is def a no-skip album. However, the glamour rock that Bowie is known for is not really my cup of tea. Loved the record tho.

the best part of this album is by far and away Lost Someone. If that was the entire album it would be a 10/10. However, the rest of the album was still very good so 4/5 it is!

I love this. Its just the right amount of psychedelic late 60s band that feels pretty modern. Great vocals, interesting tracks, and wonderful instrumentation. Not something I will return to again and again, but something I was pleasantly surprised by.
