Watch that man: first thought was it sounded a lot like the beatles, like I could have thought this was mccartney singing funny at first. I guess its the right era anyway, I guess I didn't realize how much overlap bowie had with the Beatles in terms of relevance (even though the last Beatles album was a few years prior). It's weird to think he was literally in movies when I was young (Zoolander lol) and was making music around the same time. Intuitively I thought of these eras as very different.
