Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Aug 26 2026

I found this album to be just ok. I haven’t been in the mood for classic rock for a long time so it wasn’t a fair review. I did like some of the organ arrangements but wasn’t blown away by anything in particular.

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

I really liked this. Dolly was just the twang I needed. The album felt wholesome and very down to earth. Exactly what one would look for in a classic country album. RIP Queen

Home Is Where The Music Is by Hugh Masekela
Aug 28 2026

This album brought my deepest insecurity front and center…..my general distaste for Jazz. I’ve tried to enjoy Jazz but it never struck a chord with me. It always ends up sounding like elevator music or the atmosphere for an antiseptic coffee shop. My lack of appreciation reminds me of my uncultured youth.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Aug 29 2026

Yeah, I really liked this to no surprise. I love southern rock and really enjoyed the jams. Highlights were Good Golly Ms Molly and Proud Mary. Album is short and sweet, never wears out its welcome

Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Aug 31 2026

What a weird album! Overall really enjoyed it. It felt creative, whacky, and over the top which is exactly what I like from psychedelic rock. Really not my favorite genre but this one pulled it off. Super happy this popped up and will add it to my rotation.

Is This It by The Strokes
Sep 01 2026

I’ve always been a peripheral fan of The Strokes and have never listened to a full length album. I really enjoyed this project. It was an interesting experience for it made me unexpectedly nostalgic. This was not the type of music I listened to in high school yet it brought me back to that period of time into the life of somebody I wasn’t. Haha it made me think of smoking cigarettes with my friend while chilling at the skate park none of which is something I did. Anyway, Julian Casablancas voice is wonderful and fits this genre perfectly. Highly recommend this album to anyone.

So by Peter Gabriel
Sep 02 2026

This album was really boring. Felt super generic 80’s pop….Huey Lewis and the New—esque. That is not a compliment. By no means is it bad, but not memorable in the slightest.

Bandwagonesque by Teenage Fanclub
Sep 03 2026

I really liked this album. It was a lot of fun. The guitar play was the highlight, it set the tone without drowning out the vocals. Truly, expert level layering with the instrumentals and really enjoyed the emotion conveyed. Don’t really know much of this genre so take this review with a grain of salt.

Face to Face by The Kinks
Sep 04 2026

So I did like this album. Pretty groovy which made it an easy listen. I feel like it might have been pretty hype for its time however, for me, it didn’t do anything beyond what I was expecting. Overall, very approachable but not a must listen

Low by David Bowie
Sep 05 2026

At first glance, I felt this album was something I would love but would need to revisit it at a different point in my life. This completely changed by the end. I love the melodies, the instrumentals, and the electronic elements so much. It feels very much ahead of its time.

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Sep 07 2026

I didn’t think I was going to like this….but it was really fun. Easy album to enjoy! Probably won’t come back to it but glad I listened.
