1001 Albums Summary

I heard this album like 100 times already lol 9.5/10

Before listening: The layout, colours and font of this album cover are really cool. I’ve never heard of this album before, so I have no idea what to expect aside from it being jazz. After: It was beautiful music, but not really my thing. I can appreciate the artistic value of the album, but I don’t think I’m all that interested in listening another time. This was definitely a great soundtrack for a nature walk though.

Before listening: I’m familiar with Bob Dylan and I’m aware of the calibre of artist that he is, but I’ve never listened to one of his albums. I’m excited to hear this one. After: I really liked this album. However, I’m gonna need to listen it more and read the lyrics to fully comprehend what he’s saying. It seemed to go by very fast and I caught a lot of what he said but not everything. The album is about everything you could think of, it’s full of political commentary, personal struggles, love, and heartbreak. I’m a fan of folk and Bob Dylan is probably the most famous example. I’ve just never dived into his discography because it just always seemed like a lot. I’m going to try to get into his music now, so I’m looking forward to others that are likely on this list.

I know this album already, it’s one of my favourites.

I guess I’m more tapped in with music than I thought, at least within hip-hop because I already listened to 4/6 of the albums this site gave me. I don’t mind listening to this one again though but I already know it’s a classic
