3/5 Fav songs: Protex Blue - Remote Control Notes: Good album, iconic singing voice and good playing all around. Couple stand outs like the top 2, Cheat and What's My Name, but otherwise can be a bit muddled, each song feeling "samey". Overall a good album I'd return to, albeit more often as background music than not
Strong 7 Fav Tracks: Hung Up On A Dream / Beechwood Park Notes: An album of longing and story-telling, evident in virtually every single song. At times feels like David Bowie's debut album with it's baroque pop sensibilities, other times an attempt at a mix between The Beatles Sgt. Pepper and Revolver. I think it succeeds decently well, songs having interesting harmonies and well played yet instrument playing.
