1001 Albums Summary

Incredible start to the album a day journey. Unique and creative sound, the album blends exciting rock n roll with the alt sound. Added saved several of these I heard for the first time. So much fun

Really did not enjoy upon first listen. Bland and loud punk rock that stressed me out, especially heavy on front end of album. I guess the hybrid was to mix it with some rap/rnb? enjoyed this slightly more, but still relatively didn't have a good time. didn't really make sense to me, didn't even like the songs I knew that much. don't think I'd pick this one up again.

Dawg I didn't even want to like this one and I did!! White has such a creative and unique sound that makes for a pleasant and enjoyable listening experience. Less specific songs stand out on this one, but a very fun ride from start to finish. Took a little longer to get into it, as opposed to being instant with the white stripes. Regardless, really enjoyed the experimentation and different sounds that this album provides. We're all Hip eponymous poor boys. Outro track is incredible wrap up that felt like our guy goofin around. wish I could give it 3.5

I get that its an all-time metal classic. If I had to guess I bet this did a lot for the genre. I feel the urge to head bang, but beyond that I don't think I'll ever be too big of a metal listener. Not feeling particularly moved. Master of Puppets track has been stuck in my head most of the day though.
