1001 Albums Summary

I'm trying to take time to see why each album has been in the top 1001, this definitely falls into the 'classic/iconic album's territory. It's a good album, London Calling definitely stands out as the best song for me, whether that's because it's the best known or vice versa I don't know but given the album's named for it I can only assume they too thought it was the strongest. Largely the album was what I'd call classic rock (I can't particularly see the punk aspect as much - but I suppose I'm thinking of more modern punk) , which is fine, I can't say I'm not of the genre. Some songs on the album definitely had some ska influence and I enjoyed the trumpets that featured on quite a few tracks. Other than that I haven't got much to add, good but not great. 7/10
