I found myself surprisingly bored listening to this album.

Solid blues rock album. I haven't deliberately listened to ZZ Top for ages, but I enjoyed it.
This is some solid blues rock here. Very enjoyable and entertaining. Nothing particularly ground-breaking, but nothing pompous or overblown. They're good but not particularly showing off, and they take their time to play.
I think I first heard the track La Grange just before ZZ Top became the unlikeliest breakout stars of the MTV video boom with their album Eliminator. I was immediately hooked by this swampy, bluesy, southern rock with a nice mix of foot stompers and slower ballads. The album fits 10 songs into a brisk 33 minutes and is always a fun listen!
I've never intentionally listened to ZZ Top. This is some pretty solid bluesy rock. Fun listen.
