I like how there are two 1-star reviews that begin with reviewing something else, speaks volumes about how captivating this record is. Without further ado, let us begin with "Stop", the visual novel (止まれ). First of all, it's a horror game, and I'm a scaredy-cat, so I lowered the volume to a bare minimum and can't really rate the scariness or anything audio related. The game loop is basically this: the story goes on until you face a choice. Wrong choice leads to a bad ending and takes you all the way back to the beginning, the other one progresses the story. If you would want to see all the bad endings, you would have to skip through the same scenes A LOT. Sometimes it feels a tad stupid when the right choices are "don't stop the car", then after one (uno) screen of text which doesn't really say anything substantial the right choice is "on second thought, stop the car". They stop the car to check the trunk, one of the characters says "maybe we shouldn't", and, you guessed it right, the correct choice is to get back in the car. The language is fairly simple, author sticks to short sentences, repeats the same words very often, which is a huge plus for me as I'm not nearly good enough to read more convoluted Japanese. I don't have much experience with the genre, but it seemed like a generic ghost story. Still, held my attention, I theorized about how it would end and how the characters are connected. Was satisfied with the ending, it made sense, which is rare for mystery genre. The art style is a bit scuffed but it suits the game well, looks creepy enough to pretend it's intentional. Overall, 3/5. Not something I would recommend to anyone, but it's really short (if you know the language, you can finish it in like 1-2 hours I think) and rather interesting. Oh, right, the album. Three Days was alright.
