It's got a little bit of a Meatloaf vibe. Straight to You sounds a little too much like I'm in the dentist office in the early 2000s (Hootie and the blowfish). Brother my cup is empty - there's a bit of a cowboy vibe in here (like devil went down to georgia) - like the singer has a point to prove. Christina the Astonishing is a little too much telling a story over vamped music - it's super uninteresting, except for maybe the lyrics, which I'm not interested in. It's really mostly fine. It's well produced, the sound is pretty good. It sounds sorta like normal music although John Finn's Wife has a lot of strings and production value which is cool. It's too narrative for what I prefer.
