Sticky Fingers
The Rolling Stones

I didn't know I would be a fan of The Rolling Stones! Obviously I knew a lot of their songs, but I always thought of this band as a generic 60s/70s rock band. And I was wrong. Sticky Fingers is a joyous album, mixing some classic blues melodies, a little bit of rock and everything rolled in a juicy Mick Jaggers vocals. The album is a real even mix of blues and rock, and the perfect example of it would be 'Can't you hear me knocking. The flow of the song and the feeling of an extremely well oiled blues improv make it my favourite on this album and probably favourite from the band. Only issues I have is that Jagger's vocal is tiring you in big doses and the 'only' rock songs are a bit underwhelming. But still, really solid album!
