I’m not the biggest Beatles guy out there, but I do enjoy them and there’s no denying they consistently made good music. There’s a weird mix here of incredible songs and nonsensical weird ones. It’s not even that they’re bad, they're actually kind of fun, but it’s just odd. The highs here are very high and the lows aren’t even that low. Cut this track list down to 10 songs and it’s a 5 but the inconsistently keeps this at a 4 for me. This second half grew on me a ton. Yeah, there's some novelties here, but like I said they're still fun and well made. And the odd ones are all pretty short which makes them easily digestible. Also, the way they all flow into one another on the B side is pretty cool.
