My nostalgic lens may be clouding my vision a bit but this was such a great listen for me. This album was HUGE when it came out, packed with radio hits. And while that sometimes isn't the best thing in hindsight, this one holds up. We have the big three: 'Rolling in the deep', 'set fire to the rain', 'someone like you'. All still bangers. Then we have 'turning tables' which is a better ballad than someone like you imo and maybe my favorite on the album. Then 'rumour has it' (which I recall being a bit more popular than the streams suggest) which is a fun banger where those drums and background vocals really take control. 'don't you remember' is the weakest of the first 6 but still a really good song. 'He won't go' also goes harder than I remember; that melody is killer. And those are the first 6 tracks (minus 'someone like you'). wow. The next three kinda drag a bit for me ngl. but that first half more than makes up for it. 'Lovesong' is a nice mellow track with the soft guitar and strings. And someone likes you is a strong ending track. Bottom line: Adele is an incredibly talented singer. Adele uses that god given talent to make bangers. This is her best album. I've slowly had less and less interest for her music over the years just because I feel like it gets pretty same old. But that's not an issue with THIS album, if anything it's a testament to how good this album was. The rest just don't compare. Favorites: Turning tables, he won't go, rolling in the deep, set fire to the rain MMM: WE COULDVE HAD IT ALLLLLL ROLLING IN THE DEEEEEP YOU HAD MY HEART AND SOUUUUUUL IN YOUR HANDS AND YOU PLAYED IT TO THE BEAAAAT
