The doors have a super distinct sound. The organ/harpsichord or whatever it is. The dark, dramatic vocals. The overall mysterious vibe it all creates. Very cool and sexy. For some reason that sound doesn’t really do a ton for me. Imo break on through is the best here and it’s not even close. Then soul kitchen and light my fire are pretty good. Other than that, nothing really interests me here. It’s not bad though. I can’t really explain how I feel about their sound, but it’s not something I’ll be going out of my way to listen to again.
