I enjoyed this record. Never really listened to R.E.M much, but really dig the production on this, and there are some good jangly tunes here. Honestly, the production sounds amazing for 1983 to my ears. Some of it did wash over me a little bit, but I suspect it'll improve with further listens. Favourite tracks: Radio Free Europe, Laughing, West of the Fields.
