It’s very similar in feel and some content to Tommy, but better and more concise. Bowie uses a wide range of voices, so it’s a good showcase if his vocal sounds. Bowie’s rhythm and Mick Ronson’s lead guitar work is good rock’n’roll. I struggle to follow the story on all the songs, but it’s well documented and sounds great. Yes, it is deservedly one if the greatest rock albums from the golden era of early 70s.
