My girlfriend was 26 when she bought her first new car. It was a big deal and she was so happy when she drove the teal, manual transmissioned Honda Civic off the lot. It had a 6-disc CD changer that she paid extra for and this album was the only thing that played in it. After a bit of this, and figuring out that she had no intention of changing the music, I decided that I'd drive from now on. I felt like this album, was drivel, poppy bubblegum once removed from college or "adult contemporary' music. And I had no intention of being an adult. Here I am. Here WE are, 25 years later that car long gone, a mortgage, two kids, soccer, therapy, sciatica and everything that goes along with middle age... Here we are, and I'd give most anything to sit in that little civic and listen to this CD again just for an hour.
