I was expecting it to be a girl group from the album cover, was disappointed by Intro-lude, but then pleasantly surprised when they started singing. I liked the hip-hop style instrumentals on similar levels of vibiness as The Chronic, but with chiller lyrics and singing (and they said the n word less). Quite well produced; I found the bass to be a little strong, though that may have been an issue with my earbuds. It did drown out the lyrics a little so I can't comment on them (also I'm terrible at processing audio). The instrumentals were a vibe and unique, although again the bass was a little too strong, so the beat got a little repetitive by the end. Still an extremely well produced and enjoyable album, 4/5. Favourites: Creep (interestingly, the song was written by their songwriter Dallas Austin, who wrote about the member T-Boz's former boyfriend who cheated on her, but later it turned out it was also based on Austin cheating on his at-the-time girlfriend), Kick Your Game, Waterfalls
