The popular songs are probably the best on here but there's a hard edge to most of the album I really like. Rio has a twisted bass riff and more layers to it than I expected, while Save a Prayer has a very familiar sounding synth riff that was probably sampled later. Last track The Chauffeur deviates from the formula and is mid paced with a simple repeated melody that's very effective. An 80s classic, if not quite perfect.
