Red Rain is a triumphant opener, especially the chorus. Sledgehammer has nice bass and that same 80's sound but it's less memorable for me. Then Don't Give Up is a quiet duet, maybe sounds too much like a soundtrack but Kate Bush sounds good on it. That Voice Again and especially Mercy Street are very strong tracks, subtle but powerful, dense instrumentation and emotional vocals. Big Time is more upbeat but forgettable. Then we go a bit more avant garde for two tracks before the melodies return on In Your Eyes. I like this quite a bit, but it's uneven. Maybe that's the point.
