Have no idea why “Calenture” is on this list… The music is pretentious, the albums is over-produced, and the lyrics are absolutely dreadful…. Every song comes across as the musical version of a Hallmark Channel special… The people who create that Hallmark content, think they are producing something really exceptional – but for the rest of us who accidently watch it – we’re like WTF is this, and how could this get any worse… Here’s a little tidbit of the Triffids lyrical stylings in case your wondering - “Bad News Always Reminds Me of You” “…You get to itching for the devil's next love thing…” “…The time has come to look yourself in the face…” “…When everything around you moves fast…” “Look yourself in the face”??? I could see look yourself in the eye or something along those lines, but face???
