This is more or less exactly what I thought all metal was when I was younger. There is a reason I spent a lot of years saying I don't like metal, and that is because I really am not a fan of this kind of sound. There are elements to the music which I do enjoy, which probably do get picked up in other metal subgenres. The vocal style though.... oh lord. That's the part I really can't get past. I did not enjoy this very much but at least there was a fun guitar solo on "Meaningless Movement" and I liked the drums in "Desperate Cry" so it still rates a 2 stars. Just not a sound for me.
