Hell of a start with that bass riff and that guitar in Debaser. I love the intro to Tame as well. Clean quiet bass and angry guitars and vocals. It's an effective combo that we see throughout. Wave of Mutilation is better still, swapping out the half yelled vocal for a smooth delivery, and I Bleed has the best riffing on the album so far. Here Comes Your Man has softer edges but is catchy with its almost surf rock sounding riff. Two more great tracks in Dead and Monkey Gone to Heaven close out the first side. I'm not sure if the second side is quite as good but let's not split hairs. Hey is the best track on the back half and maybe the whole album, the rhythm section carrying it again. Gouge Away is a big closer too, driving bass and crunchy wailing guitars. All killer, no filler.
