I think My Bloody Valentine is basically a definition of the band that marries some terrible sounds with an absolute genius ones. This debut album of their is the perfect example, it is sometimes visible in single songs. In general I'm a fan of a good shoegaze sound, but in a more rock/metal environment, whereas here MBV resembles a more experimenting The Cure. Still an okay album, but far from my favourite one.
