Play
Moby

So much nostalgia is baked into these songs. My dad used to play this album so much when I was a child - so it's very difficult to remove the daggy dad energy from this album. Trying to be as objective as possible, the album comes out of the gate with a string of 3 songs which impose themselves onto the listener. Once Porcelain comes around, you can't help but be transfixed. Whole album is fairly consistent - easy to see how it's influencial and critically acclaimed. Might have rated it higher if not for the overexposure to it in my youth.
