lcd soundsystem strikes with incredible clarity and resolution, and its very satisfying to see an album that manages to be very fun and danceable while also being vulnerable and heartfelt. most of the dance/electronic leaning albums on this list tend to lean towards one or the other. im not sure if its a 5 though, there some tracks that did stand out as pretty weak compared the highest highs on the record. but maybe ill come around them in the future idk. ...where even are my friends tonight?
