This is about as classic rock as a classic rock album can get. I'm a big fan of Deep Purple, but this album is a little hit or miss to me. There are some of the greatest tracks they ever made on here: Highway Star, Lazy, Space Truckin' and When A Blind Man Cries are some of the best songs Deep Purple has ever played. The solos are amazing on here. On the other hand, Smoke on the Water has gotten boring after hearing it for so long and the other songs on here aren't that interesting. Overall not as good as In Rock.
