Disappointed with this one. I listened to some hit singles of hers before which I liked, but this album was a boring monotonous slog to get through. The lyrics don't feel strong enough to carry the very sparse instrumentation and the songs might as well all be interchangable. There's no real joy to be found here. I suppose its quite a pretty album with a clear aesthetic and there are some nice moments, but overall its way too drab and boring for me to like it.
