I've always gone back and forth between this and My Aim is True as my favorite Elvis album, and I think this probably narrowly edges out that album. There's a lot of strong songs on this and it sounds great, which are two things you couldn't say about Punch the Clock and Goodbye Cruel World. Highlights for me are "Uncomplicated", "I Hope You're Happy Now", "Next Time Round" and especially "I Want You", which is probably the greatest thing Elvis ever wrote. 4.5 stars.
