This is one of these albums where I'm going to put my "objective" hat on because this R&B is really not my thing but I also appreciate it has quality. Not 5* quality - it's just not creative or novel enough and it doesn't move me very much. Not sure how involved Beyoncé was in the songwriting either. BUT she can definitely sing and the album is quite varied. Lyrics aren't daft. Beyoncé is also a role good model too. Actually, I ended up liking this album more then I though I would. It is a totally un-cool album but I don't care. My enjoyment of listening to this is a 2 but if I were an R&B fan I could easily see this as a 4. There, a 3 it is. Beyoncé is alright!
