Gang of Four- Great reference for rock bass tones. I like the melodica when it pops up. The mix and panning are kinda weird like there’s background vocal that pops in and out of my left ear and some of the drums are panned to one side. Some cool stupid noise rock grooves. Sounds like this could have been a big influence on Primus with songs like “he’d send in the army” Could hear a bit of Can’t Stop in Natual’s Not Worth It Not a fan the punk rock vocals. I like the frantic energy and the attitude of the music and the weirdness of it. I like when the drums sound really trashy. Some cool affected guitars too. Hard to describe but I feel like a lot of these 70’s hard rock and punk records must lose something in translation it doesn’t seem heavy enough in the AirPods. Favorites: contract
