Not really saying anything controversial when I say that Blur is a good band. Britpop gets a lot of flack here, but this Blur album still seems pretty well regarded. There's quite a number of songs I like here, Girls and Boys and Parklife, the biggest hit singles, first and foremost. The album is full of humour and wit and brings a lot of variety to the table. There's a few weird oompa loompa band esque songs and interludes on here, but they don't detract from the listening experience too much.
