Possibly the most surprising album I’ve heard on here yet. I knew of the band, but I hadn’t listened to them because the categorization as “noise rock” was a turn off. The energy and unique sound they bring with this album is far from mere “noise”. The expressionist soundscapes combined with the song titles made listening to the album feel like walking through an art museum, reading the placards and being washed over by art. My hobby as a bass player may have also contributed to my enjoyment. The sound had so much texture that I could feel what he was playing in my own hands.
