I remember watching a documentary about this as a kid. After it finished, my father disappeared into the study only to fish this out on vinyl. He played it, and amongst the songs I already knew - Tainted Love and Bedsitter - it was enjoyable with the standouts being Sex Dwarf (because obviously) and my mother's self-described 'best karaoke song' Say Hello, Wave Goodbye: and I am inclined to agree with that. This album has the synth sound I love in the 80s, as well as a seediness I will take on any album.
