Sometimes you find an album at just the right time you were looking for it. I've been getting more and more into my 90s music this last year, and something about grungy America bands are really appealing to me more. I didn't realise I actually knew some songs on this album, and the ones I didn't I was really into too. Honestly, loved this, would definitely listen again.

Blur

Love Blur, and this has some of my favourite songs of theirs on (Beetlebum and She's So Great) It's an interesting album which is generally a bit grungier than what they normally do. The whole album has this distorted distant quality which helps emphasize that post-addiction era that lots of the songs allude to. Out of the three albums of theirs I've listened to, it's either as good or just below Parklife, hard to tell as they're slightly different in tone so I'd listen to them in different moods. It is however better than Leisure.

Honestly, loved it. Fun psych rock without feeling too pretentious or empty. Nice concise songs and not too long of an album either. Really enjoyed it, would consider getting.
