The song writing is so good, the voice is absolutely one-of-a-kind, the production adds flavor. She's obviously a soul singer influenced by 70s rock and whatever was on the radio. Its hard to imagine what happens on this album that didn't happen on any other album she's made. This is a gem of an album and the rest of her catalogue is pretty ho-him. Which is sad because it's an incredible debut.
