1001 Albums Summary

The Kinks is an apt name - just very curious and interesting music. Feels like the musicians are playing a game amongst themselves and I’m just an eavesdropper - contrasts sharply with modern songs that often seem formulated for the broadest listener appeal. That being said - I rate on personal enjoyment so 3 stars - worth a listen but it won’t be making my regular rotation.

Michael has always been an ear worm for me. But I also might be biased as we share a surname :p 4 stars
