I didn’t know she sang “son of a preacher man’. Mellow album. Soulful and smooth. I bet Joss Stone got her inspiration from Dusty.

This is the jam. Hard not to have heard all of these songs hundreds of times. I never owned this album though so it was good to listen straight through. Classic.

Not really my style but good in a mellow mood. The repetitiveness of the music is the downside. Some good songs “three little birds” and the back half of the album gets really good. overall I’m glad I heard it. The backstory around the album is even more interesting.

This was interesting. I didn’t make it through the whole album but I can see listening to this while I’m working or studying or walking through the airport.

“Boss” is a banger. 101FM is great too.
