Definitely Maybe
OasisNever really liked Oasis. The song writing is OK, but the stretching-out of the last syllables that are sung from the back of the nasal cavity just doesn't work for me. They are tight and Beatles-ish, but just not for me. 2/5

Good call-response structure in the songs. Live recording captures the energy and devotion of the fans. Good toe-tapping music to pickup your mood and pace.
All the calculated melodies, contrived hooks, banal lyrics, and cringe inducing pitch jumps you would expect from ABBA. I forced myself to listen to the whole album, waiting for it to get better, it didn't. The last track was so bad I didn't think I would make it, then I realized to my horror that was only the 11th of 13. One star for good engineering, you can hear all the layers clearly, this is a well produced and mixed album, the content itself is just very lame.
Solid vocals. Sooth and tight R&B band. This album is a classic.

I'm not a big rap or hip-hop fan, but this was enjoyable. Probably listen to it again. 4/5
I remember being a little kid, maybe seven years old and listening to this on headphones and enjoying the space it creates. Fun to listen to it again, it's been too long. Great memories!
I appreciate his ground breaking contribution to music. It has fantastic energy. Solid early rock and roll. Very interesting to hear the huge differences between the original and the remastered versions. 4/5
